Special Meeting
October 27, 2022
The Riverside Town Hall met in special session at 4:00 pm at the Riverside Town Hall with Mayor Leroy Stephenson presiding. Councilmembers present were Fred Lorenz, Ed Golden and Mark Helwick. Also in attendance were Allison Velez and Matt Strawn, both representing Taylor River, LLC. and Riverside Clerk/Treasurer JanA. C. Cook.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Stephenson led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance.
PUBLIC HEARING: Mayor Stephenson opened the public hearing to comment at 4:02 pm. There was discussion about parking. Ms. Velez said the “no parking” signs will be the first things she removes. “Anyone can park there”, she said. She said the name will be Mangy Moose Roadside Bar and that a general manager has been hired. She said there will be a drive through for coffee and breakfast items will be available. The public hearing was adjourned at 4:07 pm.
NEW BUSINESS:
Liquor License Transfer from Mangy Moose LLC. to Taylor River LLC: Lorenz moved with Helwick seconding to approve the transfer of Liquor License #2-Mangy Moose LLC to Taylor River LLC. The motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:15 pm.
